It is of great significance to know the visual function of infants in time for the overall assessment of their health. Prof Haotian Lin and Prof Yizhi Liu from Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-Sen University, China. They has established the evaluation system of infant intelligent visual function based on behavior pattern by using the technology of artificial intelligence (AI) deep-learning, which can screen the infant visual function objectively and detect the infant visual damage in time. the results “Discrimination of the behavioural dynamics of visually impaired infants via deep learning” which was chosen for the cover article of the Nature: Biomedical Engineering in November 2019.
